On Tuesday, July 11, 2023, we took a Deep Dive into Relay! Blake Oliver and Deanna Zubrickas from Relay joined us and we had so much fun.
Blake went to school to be a musician, but couldn’t find work so he got into bookkeeping and fell in love with QuickBooks and the technology. He had a small cloud-based practice, then went to work for a large accounting firm. Since then he has worked with tech companies, and now has his own CPE company, as well as working with Relay, and hosting the Cloud Accounting Podcast!
Deanna is a product specialist at Relay, working with accountants and bookkeepers. Showing firms how to use Relay for their firm as well as for their clients. Deanna is the go-to product expert for business banking solutions and banking integrations with accounting software. She also recently became a Profit First Professional!
Blake shared that he uses Relay, and really loves having all of the entities on one dashboard and how easy it is to move money around in one place!
Deanna showed us a demo of Relay, which is an online banking and money management platform that enables cash flow clarity. They are fully virtual, so everything is done online and connects directly to Quickbooks and Xero. There are no sign-up fees, no monthly fees, or minimum balances. Businesses can have up to 20 checking accounts! Business owners can go in and add an account any time, just name it and select what type they want it to be. They are also now offering saving accounts, businesses can have up to 2! They are interest-bearing, and there are no limits on transactions or transfers. There are 2 options for transferring funds, manually or automatically. Either way lets you help your clients reach their goals!
