On Tuesday, January 17, 2023, Heather and Liz reunited with Mike Triantos of Jirav, Evan Wells of Jirav, and Dawn Brolin of the Designated Motivator. Such great humans and we had a blast! There are so many great things that came out of camp and in this episode, we dove into some of those!
Evan has been working in the forecasting business for a long time, before forecasting in accounting he was in forecasting for medical devices! He was initially a customer of Jirav and is now the VP of Bizops and Services.
Mike is the head of accounting partnerships and has been there for 2.5 years. He is the happiest he has ever been in his career! He enjoys working with firms to develop their long-term strategies for success!
One of the themes of camp was “What if”. Maybe your what-if is in the next few weeks, next few months, or even years! Mike and Evan shared that part of their what-if came about during their fireside chat with Dan Gerturdes of GrowthLab. Together they are starting a boot camp! This boot camp will be focussing on How to Build Successful Partnerships. 
Mike, Evan, and Dawn have been working together for over a year to help one of Dawn’s customers!
Dawn is a CPA who has been practicing for 24 years! She has been through quite a bit in her career and told us how she decided to take all of the lessons she has learned with her firm and pass it along to others which is how the designated motivator became a thing. She is a passionate college softball coach and has taken that same passion and turned it into her book!
Dawn has been devoting so much to our community! When she wrote her “What-if” she wrote, “What if money wasn’t an issue?” She has been making sure her family has money, her workers have payroll, etc for 23 years. She left camp wanting to make sure that money isn’t an issue for anyone anymore. She thought of relationship pricing with the people she wants to work with and make enough money to not worry about it anymore.
