On July 12th, Liz and Heather were joined by Corpay One, a leading provider of cloud-based, automated solutions for Accounts Payable and Expense management. Our guests were Bob Lewis, SVP of the Accountant Channel and Jeremy Van Groll, Founder of Nonprofit Bookkeeping – a firm focused on serving the not-for-profit sector.
We discussed the company’s history and how it has evolved over the years to become the leading provider of cloud-based solutions for accounts payable and expense management. We also learned about the company’s future plans and innovations.
Bob started by giving a brief history of the company. He said that the co-founders quickly found out how painful bill pay was when they became business owners. They wanted to spend more time on their business so Corpay One was founded in 2016!
Jeremy then took over and shared about his experience with Corpay One and how it was such a great product for his not-for-profit clients because it really caters to their need for complex approval processes and is a free solution with lots of features that NFP companies need but sometimes can’t afford!
Bob went on to talk about the present state of Corpay One. He said that the software is designed to automate the entire accounts payable process – from invoice processing to payment. This means that businesses can save a lot of time and money.
We all know Heather gets really excited about automation and Corpay One really delivers with its robust workflow automation and approval features. Corpay supports multi level approval process, full detailed audit trail, and allows users to create complex rules and conditions to supercharge the automation of accounts payable and expense management.
Bob also shared about the new Corpay One Mastercard, which tackles the functionality of expense management. It is a free product that includes budgeting and automated expense management for all team members. Now companies can manage their accounts payable AND their expense management in one place!
Finally, Bob shared about Corpay’s plans for the future. Bob said that they are always innovating and looking for ways to make the lives of their customers easier. They are currently working on expanding their cross-border payments and will be adding a Xero integration very soon!
