PRESS RELEASE: ANNOUNCING THE LAUNCH OF THE QB ‘APPY HOUR WITH LIZ SCOTT & HEATHER SATTERLEY

Accounting technology gurus and QuickBooks ProAdvisors Liz Scott of Accounting Lifeline and Heather Satterley of Satterley Training & Consulting have teamed up to create a new live monthly webinar series called The QB Appy Hour! The announcement was made at the bi-annual Intuit Trainer/Writer meetup on Sunday, June 17th at the Scaling New Heights conference being held at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta, GA.
The QB ‘Appy Hour will be broadcast monthly the second Tuesday of each month beginning on July 10th at 4:00 PM EST. Each episode will unbiasedly explore a different topic related to the ecosystem of apps that integrate with QuickBooks Online accounting software. Topics will include apps that address the specific needs and workflows of different industries and business functions. Keeping with the fun ‘Appy hour theme, each show will be sponsored by an exclusive app-sponsored cocktail along with an interview to learn more about the app partner’s solution and how it can help ProAdvisors and their clients solve their business and accounting needs. Drink recipes will be made available to registrants via email and will be posted on the show’s website www.qbappyhour.com and its Facebook page so viewers can join in the toast to automation with Liz, Heather and sponsors!
The official ‘Appy Hour kick-off event was broadcast from the Scaling New Heights accounting conference on Tuesday, June 19th from 5:30 PM – 6:30 PM EST. The kick-off event included interviews with our inaugural drink sponsors, Lou Friedmann from Bento for Business, Marc Salo and Jeff Stuncard from FlowLink, and special guest, David Leary from Intuit Developer. There was also a surprise guest, Misty Megia from TSheets, who dropped by to wish Heather and Liz well in their new venture!
